According to the announcement from the office of H.E. Ayatullah Seestani (long may he live) in the holy city of Najaf, Wednesday 5 June is the first day of Eid al-Fitr in the United Kingdom and most parts of Europe including Sweden, except in northern Scandinavia and Russia.
