CoEJ extends heartfelt appreciation to the Council of Shias of France and Mehfile Zainab for the outstanding “Together with Mary (pbuh)” initiative. This remarkable effort brought Muslims and Christians together in solidarity following the devastating fire at Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris.
On July 6, as part of the “Together with Mary” initiative Muslims in France stood alongside Catholics to express compassion and unity, symbolizing hope and healing.
Sheikh Mohamed Ali Mortada represented the Shia community at this meaningful gathering, where Gerard Testard, President of Efesia, praised the Muslim attendees for their empathetic gesture, likening it to visiting a wounded friend.
