The KSIMC of Birmingham Jamaat held its Annual Lady Fizza Quran Competition 2019 last weekend from Friday 14 June – Sunday 16 June 2019.
The two day competition was attended by over 100 participants in reciting, discussing and celebrating the Holy Quran.
Dr Akber Mohamedali, President of The Council of European Jamaats attended the LFQC where he addressed the public emphasising the need to increase the taqwa, faith and understanding of the Holy Quran.
Dr Akber highlighted the importance of taking this initiative forward across Europe by extending the Lady Fizza Quran Competition forward to a European level Quran Competition next year across all the European Jamaats with the help of the KSIMC of Birmingham open to all: young and elder & boys and girls.
