CoEJ Visits Barcelona Jamaat

The President of CoEJ, Br. Arifali Hirji, along with Past President Dr. Hussein Jiwa, visited the Barcelona Jamaat on 23-24th May.

A brief History

Since its inception, the Barcelona Jamaat has shared a deep connection with CoEJ. The vibrant centre of the community, Idara-e-Fatimia, was primarily funded by the Khoja community through The World Federation of KSIMC of London.

  • Over 70 believers attend Juma prayers each week.
  • Muharram commemorations bring together nearly 2,000 mourners annually.
  • More than 70 events are organized by the Jamaat every year.

During their visit, Br. Arifali Hirji and Dr. Hussein Jiwa held in-depth discussions with the executive committee, addressed the community through an insightful speech, and conducted strategic meetings to discuss the future of the Jamaat.
