Who we are
The Council of European Jamaats (CoEJ), established in 1983, is an umbrella body for Khoja Shia Ithna-Asheri Muslim Communities in Europe. Throughout the year we have various volunteering opportunities, in a range of activities.
Our aims
- To promote the Shia Ithna-asheri faith;
- To relieve poverty;
- The advancement of education;
- To educate and further understand Khoja heritage, history and culture;
- The relief of those in need by reason of youth, age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage; and
- To do all such other things anywhere in the world that may benefit the community in a way recognised as charitable.
