Our Marja’, His Eminence Sayyid Al Sistani (dz) has expressed his deep sorrow on the demise of the Supreme Pontiff, Pope Francis.
His Eminence, expressed:
”…[the Pope] greatly respected by all, due to his distinguished role in advancing the causes of peace and tolerance, and in expressing solidarity with the oppressed and persecuted [peoples] across various regions of the globe.”
The Council of European Jamaats joins in expressing its condolences and sympathies to the followers of the Catholic Church worldwide for this painful loss.
